Yeah, my manager actually made a point to call me out back to show me this lovely fellow. I wanted to take him home with me. <3 According to my research, he is a Polyphemus Moth, a kind of Giant Wild Silkworm Moth, and from the side, he's easily as big as my palm. He was using our back-door alcove to take a nap.
He was first discovered at 10:30 that morning, and he was still hanging around when I left at 5:45. (Yes, he was alive. I checked... gently. Incidentally, he is VERY soft. :3 That fuzzy little body of his feels like rabbit fur.)
